In April of 2021, I was promoted to TCFM Manager. In this role, I focused on scheduling the recording and production times of all of TCFM's podcast and music. I was still involved with What's Poppin'?, but this is the first time I realized that I wouldn't be able to sustain managing all the shows and being as intimately involved with What's Poppin'?.

In February of 2022, as head of the production side of the show, I set up the cameras and stream within our studio, bringing back the video version both on-demand and live on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook!

In December of 2021, I recorded my last episode of What's Poppin'?. It was sad to step away, but I knew that if I wanted the show to grow beyond me, I had to pass it down. After this point, I switched to focusing on just the production side, handling camera and audio switching, as well as audio and video editing.

Enjoy this snippet of my last monologue starting at 34:22.

In September of 2020, I introduced a new video format of the show, giving listeners a more intimate form of listening. This also gave us the opportunity for increased visibility, and boosted our listens by nearly 50%.

We were also joined by two new members, Krista and Ethan!

In March of 2020, COVID-19 struck and we had to move all operations online. This is also when I lost contact with the previous host, so my partner in crime John Guterriez and I teamed up to co-host the show.

In September of 2019, I joined What's Poppin'?, a silly pop culture podcast hosted by Timber Creek FM (TCFM). We wanted a space to talk about all things superheroes, sci-fi, comics and music. Inevitably, it turned into a show where we covered all entertainment news.

4 NERDS. 1 PODCAST.

what happens next should come as a surprise to no one.

What's Poppin'? taught me so much. Branding, pre and post-production, digital marketing, leadership, time management, project management - the list goes on and on. I miss all these people more and more as the days go by. I hope I can find myself behind a mic again one day!
